News this week - 26th January

This week we have been busy exploring the North Pole.

We have visited the school library to learn which animals live there and the children have made some lovely arctic animals for our display.  We have also been exploring ice, learning how to make it, how long it takes to melt and what it feels like and used magnifying glasses take a closer look at the ice.

On Thursday we explored Burns Night.  We listened to some of Robert Burns’s poems and designed our own tartan!  The children produced some wonderful patterns.
